i need some advice

yesterday i finally confronted my mom with my research about the wtbts being registered with the un as a ngo for ten years.she didn't get angry at all but she says she doesn't want to doubt the organization, i asked her if she realizes that if this is true what it means and she replied by saying she believes she has found the truth and that satan wants me to turn away from the organization.she also said that apostates make these very clever looking articles to lure us away.i told her that i avoided all apostate websites(which i did) and went straight to the un which confirmed it.i asked her to do her own research on the matter but she refuses to saying she is not going to live her life having doubts about the borg.

i don't think i can wake her up ,especially if she doesn't even want to think that the organization is not "god's earthly organization".. i was thinking that now that she knows about my doubts i can disassociate myself but as i only turned 18 this week and have nowhere to go if she kicks me out the house(my entire family are j-dubs) i don't know what to do to move forward from this point .do any of you have any advice for me ?

Use your time wisely and plan to go to a college or university if you can while living at home to get your feet prepared for the real life outside the Organization.

You can't convince anyone about your research no matter how many facts you show them, the mind is a powerful thing and your Mom invested time/years in the WT and just by her comments gives you a clear clue she won't doubt this org. This organization teaches that if you have "doubts" you are weak and allowing room for "Satan".

It's a great thing you discovered this at a young age because you won't waste years in the WT since they don't like higher education, but rather earn yourself a good education, good job and great future. Just think by 22-23 you would be able to finish a career and find a good job, those are years you won't get back if you spend them like this Org wants you too... What age did you get baptized?

JW Sister: raped, pregnant what does she do?, abortion or adoption?

this question came out frequently from a situation known to some of us who knew of 2 cases.... if a single or married sister gets rapped by stranger or incest, a pregnancy results, she is not allowed to have an abortion but neither is she allowed to give it up for adoption?...i always question why not up for adoption?...

no you will be blood guilty because the child won't be raised in the "truth"... hmmmmm does anyone heard of that?

is it a matter of consciousness?

CO just confirmed worldwide construction halt and possible JW.ORG news of it

just had the co visit tonight.

i asked him if he had heard about the worldwide halt of construction besides warwick and to my surprise he said he heard the same thing.

then he went on and add that also some branches are closing and some bethelites going into pioneering but, "all because of the preaching work now.

I wonder if it's a strategy, saying "brothers we had to stop construction because Jehovah is showing & revealing to us we need to focus more on the preaching work, we had to send construction brothers home to focus on preaching since now is the time the work is more urgent than ever since the workers are few for the work & Jesus told us to ask the Father for more workers".... in other words "we notice alot of jws are awakening, leaving & need to recruit more people= more funds" wonder if we they will repeat the 70s....

So changes were made, but who cares because were so deep into the end, nothing the Organization does, really matters—does it?

so i called a few jwdubs that still talk to me, not to try to convince them of anything or wake them up but to try to get a feedback on how they took the big meeting change and other announcements.

generally speaking, all the ones i talked to were not even fazed by the changes.

many of them still didnt even realize the meeting format had changed and thought the layoffs were a normal thing that happens all the time.

Jesus will send the Angels giving us the instructions (he has a whole legion of angels at his command) and there will be no question in our hearts to seek the warnings, just like Jehovah gave the Israelites the signs.......A manmade organization made up of imperfect men giving us the instructions and must obey regardless if they seem "logical from a Human standpoint"????? HA!!! Yeah tell that to the Jonestown people, the Branch Davidians from Waco Texas and the Heaven's Gate people........

Arrogance...Can't believe how much They insult the Almighty God's and Jesus intelligence that they would need imperfect false prophet HUMANS to carry out the REAL WORK!!

I honestly believe they are going "lower in their simplified" versions of literature to avoid "independent thinking".... It makes sense the more "simplified spiritual food" the more stupid they want to keep us and it avoids good level smart individuals to "question" anything or do smart thinking and they want to avoid and not give room for people to think beyond what is printed.

I believe that is why they will do away with the weekly bible reading to stop having people "express their own thoughts in the weekly bible reading of scriptures" in the TMS meetings. If i read it correctly with the new changes of this meeting this "wordbook" the letter reference talked abut questions being raised of the weekly bible reading and so you can find the answers. This is a perfect indication that no more freely "interpretting the scriptures" for yourself.... I commented a few times preparing my comments and all of a sudden I didn't get called anymore, hmmmm .... I found it very odd I don't get called on, now i don't raise my hand. I think they caught on, hey don't blame me I was trying to do some TTAT with my comments jejejejejeje

My meetings are on saturday does that mean I have to wait until the weekly meeting or will it be read on saturday if it's dated Oct. 4th.... hell I'll go to a Sunday mtg.... does anyone know?

John Aquila: the released letter no question is real, ceders just posted a video & article that he was contacted by a legal firm of WTBTS putting a compliant of copyright violation infringement on the letter leaked.... why else the WT will go this far if it wasn't true? They wouldn't
